So we went racing this weekend in Cedar Falls Iowa and I finally got the 8 second passes that we have been working twords all year. Actually we ran a string of 8's: 8.86@163, 8.88@162, 8.91@161, 8.92@160 8.95@160 and a lazy 9.0@162.
None of this could have been possible without the help of all my supporters. First and formost Joey and Excessive Autosports, without the use of the shop, dyno and all the knowledge in Joeys head I would still be replacing motors on a weekly basis. Thank you very much!!!! There have been countless others who have helped me along the way, Dave for pushing me to be the first in the 8's even though he got there first, Dustin for being my pit crew when I needed it the most, Jared, there seems to be somthing between your and my car, when mine runs yours is broke and vise versa you will soon be in the 9's, Dan for letting me make a complete mess out of your tools and not letting me have it in the morning after an all nighter at the shop, Barb for putting up with me turning the office into a motor assembly room, and I know I am leaving many people out but to those whom I have forgot THANK YOU!!! Wait till next year, im not stopping until I hit 8.50's in a street driven radial car on CORN.
